T-Shirts come in 2 standard weights. Those are 5.5 / 5.6 Ounce and 6 / 6.1 Ounce. There are cheaper 5 ounce cotton shirts (sometimes called "Concert T's") that are available, but are not commonly used.
The 5.5 and 5.6 ounce versions are standard and are a good quality breathable shirt. These are most commonly used by just about everybody and there are over 100 colors available.
The 6 ounce and 6.1 ounce versions are considered a heavy weight premium shirt. The feel of the material in the shirts is really nice. As they are 100% cotton, they are breathable, but can feel hot in the summer heat.

Poly Cotton Blend
T-Shirts come in a standard weight of 5.5 / 5.6 Ounce. There are cheaper 5 ounce cotton shirts (sometimes called "Concert T's") that are available, but are not commonly used.
The 5.5 and 5.6 ounce versions are standard and are a good quality shirt. Some prefer the poly/cotton blended shirts as they tend to have fewer wrinkles than the 100% cotton versions. Some do feel that the poly/cotton shirts are not as breathable as the 100% cotton version.
